According to Downdetector, a service that tracks online outages, there were noticeable disruptions in both mobile and fiber internet services provided by Reliance Jio. Data shows that 68% of users reported problems with their mobile network. Additionally, 37% of users highlighted mobile internet issues, while 14% reported issues related to JioFiber connectivity.

Jio Outage: No official statement from Reliance So far, Reliance Jio has not released any official statement regarding the widespread service outage. The reason behind the connectivity issue remains unclear and users are awaiting further communication from the company regarding restoration of services. The popular Down Detector website showed that more than 10,000 people were affected by the Jio network problem, which was first reported at 12:15 pm. It showed that 65 percent of users experienced no signal problems and 19 percent experienced mobile internet problems. About 16 percent of Jio users are facing problems with the JioFiber network. Interestingly, some people on X also reported issues with the MyJio app, saying it was not loading for them. So far, Reliance has not acknowledged the issue but since it hasn’t affected millions of users, the network issue is expected to be resolved soon.
